How long can I rent your apartments for?
We have two kinds of lettings: short stays which are from one to 90 days and residential stays which are for any length of time beyond this.

What is the booking procedure?
By completing the booking enquiry form on the Homepage, an automatic email will be forwarded to our reservations team who will contact you within 24 hours. You can also contact the team directly by telephone, the details of which are available on the website. Alternatively email info@hertford-street.co.uk with your requests.

How do I pay for my apartment?

Outside of the period from 01 June to 15 September 2012, we require full pre-payment of accommodation and a security deposit upon arrival.

During the period from 01 June to 20 July 2012 there is a minimum of 4 (four) weeks stay and we require one week non-refundable deposit at the time of booking in order to confirm the reservation. Full pre-payment of the balance is required 30 days prior to arrival date otherwise the booking will be released.

***Olympics Period

During the Olympics period (from 20 July up to 15 September) there is a minimum of 2 (two) weeks minimum stay and we require full pre-payment (NON-REFUNDABLE) of accommodation rental in order to confirm the booking.

We accept payment by cash (UK currency), credit/debit card, cheque or by bank transfer.

Payments made by bank transfer or cheque must be cleared 14 days before your confirmed date of arrival (30 days during the summer period).

 Do you accept credit cards?

All major credit cards (American Express, Mastercard, Visa, Switch/Maestro) are accepted.

Do you require a security deposit?

Please note that at check in we require a security deposit to cover any incidental breakages or damages that may occur during occupation. The security deposit is usually an authorization on  the guest credit card and this authorisation will be cancelled following settlement of any outstanding balance on your bill at check out and if no incidental expenses have been incurred.

An authorisation is NOT DEBITED from the cardholder's account. The amount is held for a short period of time and is automatically cancelled. Please see charges below:

Studio - £500.00

One bedroom - £1,000.00

Two bedroom - £1,500.00

Cancellation Policy

Outside of the period from 01 June to 15 September 2012:

Notification of cancellation is required 14 days prior to arrival. For bookings cancelled less than 14 days prior to arrival you would be liable for the full cost of the stay unless the apartment can be re-let.

Once you have checked in you must give 14 days notice in case of a reduction on your stay or the same policy will apply.

During the period from 01 June to 20 July 2012:

Notification of cancellation is required 30 days prior to arrival date and subject to re-letting on a short notice. For bookings cancelled less than 30 days prior to arrival you would be liable for the full cost of the stay unless the apartment can be re-let.

***Please note that 1 week is non-refundable.

Concierge Service
A full concierge service is available at Mayfair House, two minutes’ walk from the two properties. Please contact our Reservations team for details.

Smoking
All our properties have a no-smoking policy in line with UK legislation. This policy covers the burning/smoking of all substances in our apartments, including incense. The property reserves the right to charge a penalty for non-compliance.
